What should it be Dale? Maybe you could post the recommended size (hight and width) for those of us that don't pay any attention to these things! r Dave, your attachment is 3800x2500! Good job Lisa and your attached photograph is the right size unlike some who post such large files.

Not my best picture but I have allot to learn about flash photography. Sorry for being so late Brad, when you posted this challenge a few months ago all i had was a pop up. I purchased the Nikon 900 and I have been playing around with it ever since. I have learned allot because of the challenge and we had multiple outing learning the art. I have a long way to go. Thanks for hosting this one Brad. I am posting a couple of pictures taken at the Relay for Life what a night that was. Attachments:

Nice work Aurele! If I can make a suggestion, try not to get carried away with using your flash. Think of other possibilities. The "Hope" shot, to me, just begged for a longer exposure ambient light treatment. I think the light from just the candles would have really set the mood nicely. Just my humble opinion! Hope; again not one of my best but oh well.

I did over use the flash (probably in both shots) and should have tried capturing the ambient light. But I guess at 3:00am I'm not thinking to clear. i do appreciate the feed back, keep it coming. ;D

Thanks to all those that submitted some shots. I hope that the challenge also got others to try out their flashes even if they did not submit. First Place goes to Dave Dewer for "Ready to go" A real difficult shot with so many faces and lots of reflective gear. You managed to keep the shadows off the faces and even catch some light in most of their eyes. Congradulations! Second Place goes to Lisa J. You really captured his blue eyes and got some real life in them with the catch light. The dark coutch behind him shows off his blond curly hair. Keeping his hand in the shot also draws the viewer into the photo. You could crop the right side a bit to cut out the table that just enters the picture. Third Place goes to Aurele for "Zumba at Night". I like the way you managed to keep the exposure so that you could see all the activity. Also managed to get some catch light in the eyes of the fron people. A difficult shot to get with the movement in the low light (iso must have been high). Nice work everyone. I have dropped the trophy off with Aurele as I will not be able to make the meeting this week.
