Can anyone recomend a good program for reading Raw files.

There are a ton of good free programs out there. It kind of depends on what you want o do with files. Lightroom, Photo Shop, Elements, are all great for processing your raw photos but if you just want to view them quickly, google viewing raw files. You will find all kinds of little down loads that are free and easy to use.

We use Lightroom for our editing. They have good tutorials and help when you need it.

If you are shooting a Nikon then you want Capture NX.

Thanks everyone. I like to view the shots before I import for editing. Since I shoot Nikon I will try Dales recomendation of Capture NX
